My Framebuffer Is Back

My framebuffer disappeared when I upgraded my notebook to Ubuntu 7.10 last year. I simply didn’t notice that the latest kernel was using initramfs and I needed to update /etc/initramfs-tools/modules but not /etc/modules. Actually the console framebuffer is not very useful to me as I’m not a Linux administrator. It just look a lot nicer with elegant small font size and it will be very useful in case you need to boot to console mode for emergency.

I do not mind to pay $15 USD first and receive a rebate in my Paypal account a couple of weeks later. But I do mind to enable my account with unlimited sending and withdrawals ability. In addition, what’s the point for a US company to check my HK bill for any kind of verification? Oops, I have forgotten that I have entered a US phone number during registration, for Paypal expects everybody to have a US phone number (format) while Paypal is doing business worldwide. LOL.
